Dallas College seeks a Faculty member to teach assigned classes, maintain office hours, and support student success. All positions are on-site; after six months, some roles may apply for a hybrid schedule. Academic (Faculty) positions require on-campus presence even when teaching online courses, per state law.

Responsibilities include delivering courses, maintaining records, advising students, and participating in college committees and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline for credit courses.
• For workforce education: three years of related work experience outside teaching.
• For developmental courses: bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline with demonstrated competency.
• Bilingual or multilingual background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides students with a written course syllabus.
• Evaluates instructional processes and uses innovative strategies to improve learning.
• Revises curricula and recommends teaching assignments as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate and complete course records.
• Performs professional activities in coordination with the division dean.
