Job summary

Gridstone Holdings LLC is seeking a Business Systems Architect to bridge business needs and technology solutions, including Acumatica ERP. The role reports to the Director of Information Systems and requires translating requirements into actionable specifications for technical teams.

This full-time, in-office position is based in Manchester, ME. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.) required; Acumatica experience preferred
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or similar role
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) preferred
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) preferred
• Professional certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum certifications) preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, challenges, and workflows
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and data analysis to gather detailed requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Evaluate systems and processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies
• Recommend enhancements that improve productivity, accuracy, and user experience
• Support the design and implementation of new system features or applications
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business users
• Assist in project planning, scope definition, and prioritization
• Support testing efforts by creating test cases, validating results, and coordinating user acceptance testing
• Create clear documentation including process maps, requirements, user guides, and training materials
• Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Provide ongoing support and training to end users
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics as needed
• Critical thinking and structured problem-solving
• Stakeholder management and relationship-building

Gridstone Holdings LLC (Gridstone) is building a Utility Services Platform providing mission-critical construction and maintenance services in the transmission and distribution (T&D) space for the electric utility industry. Our clients include investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, and industrial power users.

Position Purpose

Gridstone is seeking a Business Systems Architect to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions including but not limited to Acumatica ERP.This position reports to the Director of Information systems and is responsible for analyzing processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications for technical teams. The ideal candidate is equal parts problem-solver, communicator, and strategic thinker.
