Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of technical projects from conception through launch.
  • Configure and customize business systems to meet organizational needs, including user permissions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Manage technical vendor evaluation for business applications, including contract negotiations and SLAs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process flows and configuration specifications.
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives to ensure institutional knowledge is captured and accessible.
  • Own technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users, translating complex concepts into user-friendly language.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing for new implementations and updates.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users across the organization.
  • Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrations with other platforms.

About the role

As a Business Systems Analyst on Anthropic's BizTech team, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You'll translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and architectural decisions, ensuring engineering teams build solutions that scale with our rapid growth. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their requirements, configure systems, and ensure our business technology ecosystem operates efficiently and effectively. This role combines analytical thinking with technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain systems that drive operational excellence.

You’ll be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions. As we continue to scale rapidly, you’ll help ensure our systems and processes evolve to meet the growing demands of our organization while maintaining the high standards of efficiency and reliability that Anthropic requires.
