Job Description LV Collective is a vertically integrated real estate development company reshaping the student housing and multifamily landscape from our home base in Austin. We build places people are proud to live in, and a team culture built on trust, ownership, and championing each person's strengths. As we grow across markets and entities, technology and clean data are what keep our operations sharp. As our Business Systems Analyst, you'll be the connective tissue between our people, our platforms, and our data. Your first big project: building out our ticketing platform workflows from the ground up, designing how requests move through the business and making sure the right work lands in front of the right people. It's a role for someone who's equal parts problem-solver, builder, and translator, comfortable in the weeds of platform configuration and just as at home turning messy data into a story leadership can act on.
Ticketing Platform Workflow Design & Administration
- Own the buildout and ongoing administration of our ticketing platform, designing workflows, triggers, automations, views, and macros that keep requests moving
- Coordinate with our third-party IT partner, routing hardware and infrastructure issues their way and staying on them through resolution
- Partner with teams across the business to map their processes and translate them into clean, intuitive ticketing workflows
- Build reporting to track ticket volume, resolution times, and trends, and refine workflows based on what the data shows
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Analyze performance trends and deliver actionable insights to operations, leasing, and leadership teams
- Safeguard data integrity across systems through audits, validation, and troubleshooting discrepancies
- Support ad hoc reporting and analysis for business initiatives, property transitions, and performance reviews
Systems Optimization & Process Improvement
- Evaluate business processes and system workflows, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency, performance, and user experience
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support system integrations, data flow, and platform performance
- Research and evaluate new technology solutions aligned with company initiatives and operational goals
Application Support & Administration
- Serve as the go-to resource for our business platforms, supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and keeping teams moving
- Support the configuration, testing, and rollout of system upgrades, integrations, and new functionality
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training
- Partner with teams across the company to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Identify training needs and help develop and deliver user training materials that drive system adoption
Project Management & Transitions
- ~ Oversee system setup and disposition during property acquisitions and transitions, keeping timelines and deliverables on track
This is not an IT or software development position. Hardware, networks, and infrastructure are handled by our third-party IT partner. This role is about administering business platforms, building smart workflows, and turning data into answers our teams can act on.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building workflows, automations, or integrations in a ticketing platform (Zendesk preferred), or a clear aptitude to pick it up fast
- ~1-2 years of experience supporting business applications, reporting, or business intelligence, including internships or relevant project work
- ~ Experience administering or supporting software platforms (property management, CRM, HRIS, or similar) is a plus
- ~ Solid Excel skills and working familiarity with reporting or dashboard tools like Power BI or Tableau
- ~ Clear communicator who can translate technical detail into plain language for non-technical partners
- ~ Organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling support work, projects, and analysis at once
- ~ Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- ~ Familiarity with property management platforms (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, RealPage) is a plus; student housing experience preferred
