ARAMARK Uniform Services IT is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business System Analyst to join their team. The role involves working closely with various departments to support business needs and managing information systems and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Determine operational objectives by studying business processes.
- Evaluate business requirements and create future‑state designs using workflow charts and diagrams.
- Analyze required business process improvements and assist with change management practices to implement future‑state designs.
- Identify gaps, prioritize them, and design solutions after gathering requirements and conducting system walkthroughs with key stakeholders.
- Write functional design documents detailing customizations/extensions that deliver the solution.
- Collaborate with technical resources to plan and develop system flows.
- Support programmers during system development by providing use cases, flowcharts, and design specifications.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure systems and programs are properly tested and debugged.
- Create functional tests for systems configurations and extensions/customizations delivered by the IT development team.
- Draft solution design and critical control measures (e.g., roles and responsibilities for the ERP/Route Accounting system).
- Collaborate with Change Management to produce user documentation, provide help desk support, and train users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant technology experience, including large, complex technology programs.
- Minimum of 2 years as an IT Business Analyst supporting ERP or Route Accounting software.
- Experience in application and mobile application support, including problem analysis and resolution.
- Methodical implementation process experience.
- Strong requirements elicitation, modeling, and requirements management skills.
- Experience with multi‑system application integration.
- Experience developing workflow and functional use cases.
- Experience with Agile or iterative project methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with customer invoicing processes.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to act as a liaison between the business community and technical team.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic, team‑oriented environment.
- Experience using SQL‑based relational databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mobile Device Management software.
- Strong understanding of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements.
- Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
