ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst IV for Mortgage Systems. The role can be hybrid on-site in Atlanta, Birmingham, or Charlotte and is a 6-month contract to hire.

The candidate will provide Level 2 production support for mortgage applications, gather requirements, write user stories and BRDs, and collaborate with Product Owners and development teams on enhancements and modernization initiatives.

• Senior/Level 4 BA with mortgage banking experience.

• Create user stories, BRDs, acceptance criteria, workflows, and process documentation.
• Analyze business needs with Product Owners and development teams to design solutions.
• Support testing, implementation, and ongoing system improvements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce recurring production issues and future-proof mortgage technology.
• Balance day-to-day system support with modernization work.

$70-$75.00/hr.
Salary Range $110-120K
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Level 4) to support the mortgage technology organization. This role will support existing mortgage systems while helping drive upcoming enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong, traditional Business Analyst with mortgage/loan origination system (LOS) experience who can handle both production support and new system enhancements.Senior BA + Mortgage + LOS + UAD/VA testing experience, with Empower experience being a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for mortgage applications and systems.
• Investigate and resolve Jira tickets escalated from Level 1 support.

• Support mortgage system enhancements, upgrades, and new initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Analyze business needs and work with Product Owners and development teams to design and implement solutions.
• Support testing, implementation, and ongoing system improvements.
• Help identify opportunities to reduce recurring production issues and future-proof mortgage technology.
• Balance day-to-day system support with longer-term modernization and enhancement work.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of related experience Or Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of related experience
• Senior/Level 4 Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
• The manager is looking for candidates withsubstantial and senior-level mortgage banking experience. Candidates with less than five years of mortgage experience within a banking environment may not have the depth he is looking for.
• 8 years of overall relevant BA experience.
• Banking experience is needed but does not need to account for all 8 years.
• Candidates with 4-5 Home Lending/Mortgage experience, rather than Commercial Lending.
• Strong understanding of mortgage processes and LOS functionality.
• Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, BRDs, acceptance criteria, process/workflow analysis, and solution design.
• Agile BA experience.
• Experience working with Product Owners, developers, and technology teams.
• Jira experience preferred/expected for production support.
• Mortgage/LOS testing experience, including UAD/VA testing.
• Certifications are not required; hands-on mortgage/LOS experience is more important.
