Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for the team during development to clarify business requirements, resolve issues, and make recommendations as business impacts arise.
• Deliver a range of artifacts supporting application functional analysis and design including current and future target state process flows, user stories, functional and technical specifications, dependency maps, and requirements traceability.
• Analyze and decompose functional specifications into appropriately sized user stories and obtain stakeholder approvals to proceed.
• Work with Product Management to refine and prioritize backlog and drive understanding of information and process requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and SMEs to communicate solution vision and tradeoffs between usability and performance.
• Develop solutions to complex problems with ingenuity within business context, and provide production support within their domain.

Applies analytical skills to clarify and understand business needs and requirements and interprets them into functional specifications.
Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information regarding system functionality and flow
Act as primary point of contact for the team during development to clarify business requirements, resolve issues, and make recommendations as business impacts arise
Deliver a range of artifacts supporting application functional analysis and design including current and future target state process flows, user stories, functional and technical specifications, dependency maps, and requirements traceability.

5+ years of business analysis experience.
Must have Mortgage industry experience (Servicing and Originations).
Proficiency in defining business problems and proposing solutions. Product, Process, and Industry Knowledge.
Experience on Microsoft VSTS or Jira tools
Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Concatenating formulas, Conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or related field a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Must be proactive and solutions oriented business professional with the ability to interface with all levels of management across business units and functions.
