Koch Business Solutions, LP invites highly motivated students for a Business Systems Analyst Intern role in Houston, TX. The 12-week internship runs from late May to early August 2027, offering hands-on exposure to business processes and technology initiatives.

You will learn to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in MIS/IS/BI/CS/Data Analytics with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Enrolled in MIS/IS/BI/CS/Data Analytics with at least one semester remaining.
• Eligible for full-time work by August 2028.
• Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Understand processes with stakeholders and identify improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
• Support technology projects from discovery to implementation.
• Create process maps, user stories, and requirements documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, project teams, and business users to deliver solutions.
• Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Participate in testing activities and issue validation.
• Evaluate new tools and process improvements and present findings.
