Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) in Katy, TX is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team. You will partner with business and technology teams to solve complex problems and deliver practical solutions that improve how we design, build, and operate global industrial facilities.

As part of a fast-paced IT group, you will translate business needs into clear requirements, write user stories, support the OPD application portfolio, and help ensure compliant, well-tested deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a business systems analyst or in a comparable role.
• End-to-end software delivery with business and technical teams.
• Knowledge of how software solutions are designed, configured, and delivered.
• Experience partnering with software vendors or development teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with OPD stakeholders to understand and anticipate their business IT needs.
• Prioritize a focused backlog and deliver the highest‑value work on time.
• Map processes, run gap analyses, and identify opportunities to improve and innovate.
• Facilitate stakeholder conversations and translate technical detail into business insight.
• Validate logic / configuration, and lead pre-release and user acceptance testing.
• Gather requirements and write clear user stories and functional specifications.
• Support the OPD application portfolio through onboarding, enhancements, and adoption.
• Support change control and keep system documentation and compliance current.
• Stay current on relevant technologies and best practices.
