Job summary
Sysco offers a paid 10-week summer internship program in which participants work on real projects and challenges at a Fortune 100 company. The internship provides exposure to day-to-day operations and a dynamic environment across the foodservice and hospitality industries.
Location is hybrid in Houston with local candidates only; relocation is not available. Interns will participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews and learn domain business processes while contributing to performance analysis and
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with concentrations in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field (minimum GPA 3.0).
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Basic understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development techniques.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, configuration management, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Supports the analysis and evaluation of existing systems for performance.
- Collaborates with an agile team to configure package software where applicable.
- Defines potential improvements to resolve errors and improve stability.
- Simulates and tests performance improvements and documents results.
