About the job Business/Systems Analyst III
This position is hybrid. (3 days onsite / 2 days offsite)
Responsibilities
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems.
- Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables.
- 5-10 years of experience.
Qualifications
- Well experienced with Agile/Waterfall methodology, processes and cadences
- Liaison between technical groups and the business owners
- Ability to interact and handle different groups with competing needs
- Strong requirements gathering technique and elicitation skills
- Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders representing all levels of the organization including senior Leadership up to VP level
- Ability to independently research topics using available tools like SharePoint and other document repositories
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT and MS Visio
- Ability to be an active project participant by offering feedback, guidance and assistance to help meet project delivery dates
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to write requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria that are clear, concise, testable and can be interpreted by development teams using the INVEST criteria
- Ability to recognize and determine whether the changes as a result of the project would impact other systems
- Ability to identify up/downstream dependencies
- Organizational skills; coordination of meeting agendas, minutes and action items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple project assignments, and multiple business owners
- Ability to adapt to constant changes
- Traceability of other considerations which may be overlooked by business
