Everforth Apex in Irvine, California is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 3 to maintain and enhance Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Systems. The role includes migrating objects from development to production and providing technical support across EPM components.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve process, functional, and technical issues with root-cause analysis.
• Import and manipulate data from SQL-based sources, flat files, and EPM Cloud.
• Create/modify and maintain BSO and ASO Essbase cubes and Planning apps.
• Develop and modify calculation scripts, business rules, and Planning forms.
• Lead requirements documentation and document technical designs.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts and procedures.
• Monitor team deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Business Systems Analyst 3

Location: Irvine, California (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position will maintain and develop Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Systems. The role involves facilitating the migration of Oracle EPM Cloud objects from development to production environments, providing technical support for all Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System components, and working with management and end-users to enhance application functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Oracle EPM Cloud systems by identifying, implementing, and testing patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process, functional, and technical issues, providing root cause analysis.
• Import and manipulate data from multiple systems, including SQL-based, flat files, and Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Create, modify, and maintain BSO and ASO Essbase cubes and Planning Applications in Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Develop and modify calculation scripts, business rules, and Planning forms.
• Lead business requirements documentation and ensure technical designs are well-documented.
• Develop and lead the execution of test plans, test scripts, and procedures.
• Monitor team deliverables to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of eight years of experience in the IT programming field is required, with at least five years of hands‑on experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System, Fusion Edition.

Technical Skills: Oracle EPM Cloud experience (Performance Management, Planning, Shared Services, Data Management, Narrative Reporting) is necessary. Knowledge of Groovy, Business Rules, Calc Scripts, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle EPM Cloud Reports, and Smartview is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Master's Degree is preferred.
• An Oracle EPM certification is preferred.
• Expertise in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Windows, Project, Excel, and Word.
