Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) and Fusion General Ledger Functional SME to lead the design and configuration of an enterprise accounting platform in Chicago. The role focuses on source-to-accounting mapping, governance, and integration across multiple source systems with a strong emphasis on GL and intercompany processes.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of Oracle Financials implementation experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS) experience.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Experience configuring Event-Based and Pass-Through Accounting in AHCS.
• Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Structures, Intercompany Accounting, Allocations, Revaluation, and Financial Close Processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Global Foundation and Enterprise Structure design activities for Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Define and optimize General Ledger business processes and operating models.
• Design and configure Chart of Accounts, Legal Entities, Ledgers, Business Units, and Intercompany Accounting.
• Design and configure Event-Based and Pass-Through Accounting Rules within AHCS.
• Define accounting events, journal generation logic, and account derivation rules.
• Define source-system accounting requirements and onboarding of multiple source systems into Accounting Hub.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, governance, and audit requirements.
• Design and support reporting solutions using OTBI, FDI, and SmartView.
• Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities, including troubleshooting and end-user training.

Location: Chicago, Illinois (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) and Fusion General Ledger Functional Subject Matter Expert. This role will support the design, configuration, and implementation of an enterprise Accounting Rules Engine and Oracle Financials GL platform. The consultant will lead the accounting design, source-to-accounting mapping, and business process alignment for the implementation, ensuring requirements are accurately translated into system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Global Foundation and Enterprise Structure design activities for Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Define and optimize General Ledger business processes and operating models.
• Design and configure Chart of Accounts, Legal Entities, Ledgers, Business Units, and Intercompany Accounting.
• Design and configure Event-Based and Pass-Through Accounting Rules within Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS).
• Define accounting events, journal generation logic, and account derivation rules.
• Define source-system accounting requirements and support the onboarding of multiple source systems into the Accounting Hub.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, governance, and audit requirements.
• Design and support reporting solutions using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Financial Data Intelligence (FDI), and Oracle SmartView.
• Participate in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities, including troubleshooting functional issues and providing end-user training.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle Financials implementation experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS) experience.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger.
• Experience configuring Event-Based and Pass-Through Accounting in AHCS.
• Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Structures, Intercompany Accounting, Allocations, Revaluation, and Financial Close Processes.
• Knowledge of accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes.
• Experience working with Finance, Controllers, and Accounting teams.
• Skills in functional design, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industries.
• Experience with large‑scale Finance Transformation programs.
• Experience integrating multiple source systems with Oracle Accounting Hub.
• Knowledge of regulatory, audit, and SOX compliance requirements.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud implementations.
