Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an entry-level analyst to support data reporting, forecasting tools, and process improvements under supervision.

You will review data, assist with forecasting using Access, Excel, and other tools, and participate in project workgroups; some travel may be required.

Minimum two years in an operational role and a High School Diploma/GED are required; healthcare knowledge and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in operational role.
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs as necessary.
• Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.).
• May participate in various internal and external project workgroups.
• May recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements, etc.
• May prepare materials for internal and external audit activities.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

About The Role

Under direct supervision performs research and root cause analysis for customers. Assists with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions. This is an entry level position performing routine assignments.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

Salary Range

$56,200 - $75,285

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
