Job summary

GT’s Living Foods is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I – Enterprise Applications & AI Enablement in Vernon, CA. You will bridge business needs and IT, analyzing processes and implementing AI-enabled automation using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of analyst experience, a related degree, and a passion for technology, automation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP), Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, and related technologies.
• Experience identifying opportunities for workflow automation, process optimization, and operational improvements.
• Certifications: PL-900, AI-900, PL-100, PL-200, ECBA, Copilot Studio in a Day (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plan opportunities for process improvement and workflow automation.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, user stories, and process maps.
• Facilitate workshops to capture current and future-state processes.
• Design AI-assisted solutions using Copilot, Power Platform, and generative AI.
• Configure and support low-code solutions with Power Platform.
• Develop, test, and deploy workflow automation solutions.
• Create and maintain process docs, test scripts, and training materials.
• Support UAT, defect management, and solution validation.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance analysis and documentation.
• Run and monitor enterprise applications and automation for reliability and value.
• Provide user training and drive adoption of new tech.
• Collaborate with business users and IT for further automation opportunities.

Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst I – Enterprise Applications & AI Enablement serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and Information Technology, helping identify, analyze, and implement technology solutions that improve business processes, increase operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives.

This role focuses on business process analysis, Power Platform solutions, workflow automation, enterprise applications, and emerging AI-enabled technologies. The analyst will partner with business teams to gather requirements, document processes, coordinate testing activities, and support the implementation of solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, and other intelligent automation technologies.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, process-oriented, and excited about leveraging technology, automation, and AI to solve business problems and improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities (35% Plan, 30% Build, 35% Run)

• Plan
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Design and support AI-assisted business solutions leveraging Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and approved generative AI technologies.
  • Participate in AI use-case discovery, business readiness assessments, and process optimization initiatives.
• Build
  • Configure and support low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio / Codex.
  • Assist with development, testing, and deployment of workflow automation solutions.
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and solution documentation.
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect management, and solution validation activities.
  • Utilize approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Codex, Claude.ai to improve analysis, documentation, testing, and business process design activities.
• Run
  • Support enterprise applications and automation solutions through issue triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Monitor Power Platform solutions and automation workflows to ensure reliability and business value.
  • Deliver user training and support adoption of new technologies and business processes.
  • Participate in post-go-live support, business adoption reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify additional automation and AI opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and test scenarios.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, business process improvements, and application support activities.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for learning emerging technologies. Actively identifies opportunities to improve business processes through automation, AI, low-code solutions, and innovative approaches that create measurable business value.

Job Details

• Location: Vernon, CA
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Status: Exempt
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, business hours (4 days on-site / 1 day remote). Note: Requires additional weekend or on-call availability as needed.
• Work Attire: Use good judgment, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
• Pay Range: $110,000 - $125,000 + Bonus eligible
