Job summary

GT’s Living Foods, LLC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to bridge business needs and IT, optimizing enterprise apps and AI-enabled workflows. You will gather requirements, document processes, coordinate testing, and help implement solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise business applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP platforms), Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, and other enterprise business application technologies.
• Experience identifying opportunities for workflow automation, process optimization, and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, and operational efficiency with business stakeholders.
• Gather, document, and analyze requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specs.
• Facilitate workshops to understand current and future business processes and design AI-enabled solutions.
• Configure and support low-code solutions using Power Platform and Copilot Studio; assist with testing and deployment.
• Support UAT, testing, and solution validation; document processes and training materials.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve enterprise applications and automation workflows.

Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst I – Enterprise Applications & AI Enablement serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and Information Technology, helping identify, analyze, and implement technology solutions that improve business processes, increase operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives.

This role focuses on business process analysis, Power Platform solutions, workflow automation, enterprise applications, and emerging AI-enabled technologies. The analyst will partner with business teams to gather requirements, document processes, coordinate testing activities, and support the implementation of solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot, and other intelligent automation technologies.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, process-oriented, and excited about leveraging technology, automation, and AI to solve business problems and improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities (35% Plan, 30% Build, 35% Run)

Plan

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, user stories, process maps, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to understand current-state and future-state business processes.
• Design and support AI-assisted business solutions leveraging Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and approved generative AI technologies. (CoPilot, OpenAI, Codex, Claude.ai etc.).
• Participate in AI use-case discovery, business readiness assessments, and process optimization initiatives.

Build

• Configure and support low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio / Codex.
• Assist with development, testing, and deployment of workflow automation solutions.
• Create and maintain business process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and solution documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing, defect management, and solution validation activities.
• Utilize approved AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Codex, Claude.ai to improve analysis, documentation, testing, and business process design activities.

Run

• Support enterprise applications and automation solutions through issue triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor Power Platform solutions and automation workflows to ensure reliability and business value.
• Deliver user training and support adoption of new technologies and business processes.
• Participate in post-go-live support, business adoption reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to identify additional automation and AI opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and test scenarios.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, business process improvements, and application support activities.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for learning emerging technologies. Actively identifies opportunities to improve business processes through automation, AI, low-code solutions, and innovative approaches that create measurable business value.

Certifications (Not required but preferred)

• PL-200 Power Platform Functional Consultant
• ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis)
