The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that assigned information systems meet the business needs of all users. This person is tasked with learning the business operations of the areas supported. The Business Systems Analyst will assist in the efforts of the hospital to standardize the processes related to the use of all business applications and software and will respond to user requests for assistance regarding the correct and productive use of business software and modules for the following areas: Admissions, Billing, Finance, Accounts Payable, HR, Payroll, and Materials Management. S/He will act as the liaison between hospital users, the MIS department, and system vendors when necessary. Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for working with MIS Technology Services personnel and the hospital users to implement new system enhancements and resolve day-to-day system-related problems.
