Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, part of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, seeks a Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month engagement. The role focuses on requirements gathering, as-is/to-be analysis, gap analysis, and supporting new systems and maintenance across internal partners and IT teams.

You will document requirements, lead test cases, and provide written/verbal updates to management while driving automation and process improvements in a large, multi-system environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in business technology analysis and IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree preferred – IT, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in information technology, consulting, or utilities and energy sectors.
• Experience in large-scale environments across multiple hardware and software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements workshops for large and/or complex projects.
• Deconstruct and document internal systems, processes, and needs.
• Define requirements and test cases using structured methodologies.
• Lead documentation of requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking.
• Provide project updates to IT and business management.
• Advise internal partners on technology and process solutions.
• Identify viable technology solutions with teams and external providers.
• Guide partners on current systems and future capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT groups and external providers to implement or modify systems.
• Provide ongoing application and system support for multiple systems.
• Support projects and troubleshooting efforts.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley compliance control execution and evidence gathering
