UST is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams. The role focuses on analyzing needs, documenting requirements, and turning them into functional specs for successful delivery.

The BSA will work with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Project Managers across the SDLC, facilitating UAT and ensuring traceability of requirements from inception to delivery. Mason, OH location with a strong compensation range.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
• Expertise in BRD, FRD, user stories, and use cases.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software implementation projects; strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and process mapping sessions.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and use cases.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
• Support solution design, system integration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers throughout the SDLC.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes.
• Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure traceability of requirements from inception through delivery.

What You Need

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering experience.
• Expertise in BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Process Flow documentation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software implementation projects. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
• Proficiency in process modeling and data analysis.
• Preferred Skills:
• Domain experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Financial Services, or Enterprise Applications.
• Experience with Salesforce, CRM, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
• SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation. CBAP, CCBA, or Agile certifications.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
