Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to align IT solutions with business initiatives. You will analyze processes, define specifications, and support data-driven improvements across mortgage, credit cards, consumer loans, and collections systems.

The role requires collaboration with multiple business units, development teams, and reporting functions to optimize data quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with BI tools and building dashboards.
• Experience creating relational database queries.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Project management and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and defines specifications for operating software applications and maintains existing ones.
• analyzes and evaluates systems and designs programs and procedures to process data.
• Prepares charts/diagrams to support problem analysis and recommendations.
• Develops coding logic flowcharts and test plans.
• Supports after-hours on-call rotation as needed.
• Interfaces with credit reporting and regulatory reporting teams.
