The City of Riverside’s Public Utilities Department is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the Administration Business Systems Division. You will perform system testing, analyze complex projects, and support users across multiple departments.

The City of Riverside, Public Utilities Department (RPU) is accepting applications for the position ofBUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYSTto fill two (2) vacancy in theAdministration Business Systems Division.The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.
Under general supervision, The Business Systems Analyst to perform a variety of professional, technical and analytical duties in the areas of systems analysis and testing, system troubleshooting and business policies and procedures review; to assist in the implementation of complex computer systems for various Departments; to provide user support and to assist in additional system module implementation including vendor upgrades; to provide highly responsible assistance to higher level management staff; and to perform related duties as assigned.
Typical duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Up to two years of additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education.
Experience: Three (3) years of responsible experience in automated system implementation including the areas of information technology, customer service, billing, financial and cost analysis, development of policies or project management. A Master's degree in a related area may substitute for one year of the required experience.
