Job Overview

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our client in a role that supports key business operations and contributes to important organizational initiatives. This Hybrid, Contract to Hire opportunity is based in Philadelphia, PA and offers the chance to work closely with technical teams and business partners to improve data accuracy, optimize processes, and support operational performance. The individual in this role will help drive informed decision making through data analysis, reporting, and system support while contributing to ongoing process improvement efforts. Success in this position requires strong analytical abilities, collaboration skills, and experience working with data driven solutions.

Compensation

$46/hour

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, normal business hours

Key Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst

• Analyze operational workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend data driven solutions that enhance efficiency and business performance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, technical resources, and support teams to gather requirements, resolve system related issues, and facilitate successful project outcomes.
• Develop, maintain, and validate reports, dashboards, queries, and data models to support business reporting and decision making.
• Perform data reconciliation, quality reviews, and investigative analysis to ensure accurate information across systems and identify underlying causes of discrepancies.
• Streamline recurring processes through the use of reporting tools, scripting, and automation techniques while supporting documentation, training efforts, and implementation activities.

Qualifications and Skills for the Business Systems Analyst

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, operations support, or a similar analytical environment.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server, including advanced query development, data troubleshooting, and database reporting activities.
• Hands on experience using Power Query, Python, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications for data transformation, analysis, automation, and reporting.
• Understanding of data validation practices, issue investigation, Agile methodologies, and collaborative project environments; candidates must be authorized to work on a W2 basis and reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware.
