Job summary

Capax RM in Chicago, IL seeks a Business Systems Analyst to own and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across our manufacturing and distribution operations. You will lead upgrades, deployments, and software rollouts, while serving as the bridge between end users and developers for customisations.

You will manage a cross-site super user group, provide end-user training, and support SQL Server maintenance and disaster recovery planning.

• Proven experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in a multi-site environment.
• Strong project management skills for upgrades and deployments.
• Ability to train and support end users across departments.

Business Systems Analyst - Business Central | Chicago, IL | up to $100k base

We're hiring an ERP Software Support Specialist for a manufacturing and distribution company with multiple US sites. This is a sole business systems analyst role reporting directly to the IT Manager, with close daily contact with the CFO and accounting team.

About the role

You'll own Business Central support across the business, working closely with a super user group spanning multiple departments and locations. You'll lead upgrades, deployments, and software rollouts, and act as the bridge between end users and developers when it comes to customisations.

Current ERP setup

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, on premise
• Around 200 BC users across multiple sites
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales / CRM
• SQL Server
• Windows Server and some Azure/cloud exposure
• Office 365 including Teams and SharePoint
• Wireless warehouse and shop floor data collection, visual scheduler

What you'll be doing

• Leading ERP project management for upgrades, deployments, and bolt on software rollouts
• Managing and supporting a cross departmental super user group
• Providing end user training and support across multiple sites
• Supporting disaster recovery planning and SQL Server maintenance
• Structuring data and reporting for analytics
• Administering vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts
