We're seeking a strong and creative Business Analyst, Functional Analyst eager to solve challenging problems of scale and work on cutting edge technologies. In this project, you will have the opportunity to write code that will impact thousands of users every month. In this new adventure, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a world-class team in the field of Insurance by building a holistic solution, interacting with multidisciplinary teams.

This project involves upgrading and modernising a Visual Basic/SQL DB application and 2 Lotus Notes applications (all are 25-year-old applications) and migrating 50+ million records of data with zero data loss out of LN into modern digital cloud and hybrid microservices-based applications running on native Kubernetes container platform.

Responsibilities

1. Solicit information from various technical and functional sources, organize, document, review, and publish for wide consumption.
2. Use a variety of business analysis methods.
3. Conduct interviews and sessions independently to gather details or present and verify captured information with stakeholders.

Skills

Must have

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Business Analysis and experience working independently as a System/Functional Analyst. Two to three years of Insurance Domain experience is required.
• Proficiency in Flowcharts, Swimlanes, UML models for representing business functions, users, and usage.
• Experience with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for analysis, consolidation, and presentation to business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to review, analyze, and document data flow, functions, and business logic using SQL queries, tables, views, etc.
