Botsford Associates is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Corporate Lending Transformation team. This role is aligned to the Senior Commercial Markets (SCM) Lending Modernization Program and will focus on supporting enhancements to the ACBS platform to handle increased operational volume and complexity as SCM onboarding expands.

The BSA will work across business, operations, and technology teams to analyze current ACBS capabilities, identify enhancement opportunities, define requirements, and support testing and validation of new ACBS features. This role requires hands‑on exposure to ACBS or LoanIQ, strong understanding of lending operations, and an ability to translate operational needs into actionable technology requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate current ACBS functional capabilities and identify gaps or performance constraints related to upcoming SCM onboarding volume.
• Collaborate with Technology partners to define enhancement requirements for ACBS modules, workflows, and data integrations.
• Support analysis of system capacity, downstream impacts, and scaling readiness.
• Document functional requirements, business rules, and system behaviour needed to support increased load and new SCM use cases.
• Work closely with Lending Operations and Lending Services teams to understand operational workflows and how they intersect with ACBS functionality.
• Translate operational pain points, constraints, and future‑state needs into clear business/functional specifications.
• Conduct current‑state vs. target‑state process mapping to ensure enhancements align with operational readiness.
• Participate in the design and execution of testing for ACBS enhancements.
• Develop and maintain UAT test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with QA teams and business stakeholders to validate system behaviour, investigate defects, and support resolution processes.
• Facilitate workshops with business, operations, and engineering teams to validate requirements and solution design.
• Contribute to program‑level readiness, reporting, and documentation related to ACBS enhancement streams.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within banking or lending environments.
• Exposure to ACBS or LoanIQ (one of the two is required; familiarity with ACBS is strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of commercial or corporate lending operations, including loan booking, servicing, amendments, notices, drawdowns, and paydowns.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, including requirement definition, impact analysis, and workflow validation.
• Solid testing experience, particularly with UAT, business validation, and defect management.
• Strong documentation skills: process maps, functional requirements, data mapping, gap analysis.
• SQL or data query skills to support data validation and system behaviour analysis.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working directly on ACBS enhancement or configuration projects.
• Background in Lending Services or Lending Operations.
• Familiarity with platform migration or onboarding programs involving high‑volume commercial lending portfolios.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Visio, Lucidchart.
