  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:00am-5:30pm

Specific job details:

  • Provider Communications team handles high volumes of both inbound and outbound calls daily with referring offices across the valley regarding STAT and emergent findings.
  • This position is very busy, fast-paced, and includes heavy phone work.
  • Candidate needs a quiet work environment free of distractions.
Medical imaging plays a pivotal role in the delivery of excellent patient care at Banner Health. From detection and diagnosis to the treatment of illnesses and abnormalities, Banner Health’s varied medical imaging and radiology services help physicians establish and execute individualized treatment plans. Position Summary: This position provides administrative services and assistance requiring occasional discretion and judgment. Coordinates a unique set of processes and/or services for an assigned area such as contracting, claims, sales, recruitment, services or billing.

Core Functions:

  1. Provides administrative and customer or vendor services in assigned area, including performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support a program or process.
  2. Reviews and/or audits documents, forms or invoices for accuracy; initiates corrective actions as needed.
  3. Corresponds with customers, patients, potential candidates, and vendors via verbal, electronic, and written communications using defined formats and procedures.
  4. Maintains records and files for the assigned area, ensuring timely and accurate documentation entry into departmental systems.
  5. Prepares, collates, and distributes reports in a timely manner; handles department projects as directed.
  6. Maintains supply inventories by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  7. Works independently under general supervision, representing the company as a primary contact for outside entities such as insurance claimants, patients, and vendors.
Performs all functions according to policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation standards, and professional standards. Provides excellent service to all customers by demonstrating core and leader behaviors daily.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of administrative experience in a related area.

- Employees at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at hire and maintain it throughout employment.

- Ability to work independently, follow directions, communicate effectively, and use office software proficiently.

- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Employees working in behavioral health settings serving children or at specific Banner locations must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and sign an Arizona Criminal History Affidavit upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
