Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed tutoring courses with A or B in Texas Wesleyan courses (exceptions at Director’s discretion).
• Must demonstrate subject proficiency by scoring above minimum on grammar/proofing test.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (exceptions at Director’s discretion).

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring to students individually or in small groups.
• Maintain a weekly schedule of tutoring hours for appointments.
• Attend tutor training workshops as required.
• Keep accurate tutoring appointment records and reports.
• Coordinate with professors to obtain relevant materials for the ASC.
