Oregon State Credit Union in Corvallis is seeking a Business Services Specialist I to support our business members and lending team with loan processing, servicing, and cash-management solutions. Job description

As a Business Services Specialist I, you will play a key role in supporting our business members and lending team by providing exceptional service, facilitating business loan processing and servicing, and helping ensure seamless member experience from application through closing and ongoing account support.

As a Business Services Specialist I, you will serve as the primary frontline contact for the Business Services Department. Working closely with Business Services Officers, business members, and internal teams, you'll assist with business loan processing, loan servicing, cash management solutions, and deposit products while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and enjoys building relationships while delivering outstanding member service.

What you will need to be successful:

• Business Lending & Operational Skills: Experience supporting loan processing and servicing activities, including document preparation, funding coordination, file maintenance, and loan review tracking. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with business lending operations and financial documentation is preferred.
• Communication & Member Service Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to providing exceptional service to members, internal team members, and vendor partners. Ability to effectively communicate timelines, manage expectations, and respond promptly to inquiries. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach are essential.
• Experience & Education: One to three years of financial services experience, preferably involving commercial or business lending. Customer service experience required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
