Goodwill-Industries-of-Kyowva-Are is seeking a part-time janitorial staff member in Huntington, WV to maintain clean and orderly office premises. The role requires basic education or equivalent experience and reliable transportation. Duties include cleaning rooms, lobbies, restrooms, floors, and common areas.

Typical tasks involve sweeping, waxing floors, dusting, window washing, and waste disposal. Part-time schedule and local commute supported by benefits such as 401(k) options and insurance

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Sweeps and picks up trash on parking lot and entrances.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.

Education and/or Experience

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
