The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a candidate for the Business and Records Administration role within their geriatric healthcare programs. This position focuses on improving operational efficiency, developing educational materials, and engaging with clients to expand service offerings. Position Summary
Business and Records Administration
* Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency in business operations.
* Support the documentation of new processes and workflows.
* Assist in gathering, monitoring, and presenting GEDC KPIs, including lead generation, lead conversions, client engagement, and training completion.
Consulting Engagements
* Create and submit statements of work, interact with UNC OSPCA during contract negotiations, and coordinate final contracts with clients.
* Assist with client discovery and onboarding meetings.
* Assist with the analysis of ED evaluation surveys used for gap analyses.
* Record and distill interviews with key personnel at hospital sites to inform future directions on improving geriatric emergency care.
* Produce final deliverables with strategic recommendations for a client’s gap analysis.
* Creates and maintains projected revenue from Consulting Engagements
Content Development and Management
* Assist with creating geriatric-specific toolkits (i.e., medication reconciliation, transitions of care, health equity in older adults, etc.).
* Research and write articles and case studies on geriatric healthcare industry trends and evidence-based practices.
* Review GEDC dissemination products for clinical accuracy and relevance.
* Coordinate core faculty and other interdisciplinary providers when producing toolkits, blogs, and other publicly disseminated resources.
Educational Services
* Assist in the creation, editing, and updating of online learning modules focused on geriatric care
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop comprehensive and engaging educational materials.
* Assist with integrating existing educational modules into a new GEDC Website.
Membership Services
* Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
* Develop proposals and pitches for services to existing and prospective clients.
* Offer education recommendations to the content development team based on client feedback for new resources GEDC could offer
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Self starter and the ability to easily engage with others.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Knowledge of geriatric medicine.
