About the Opportunity

DMI, LLCis seeking a Business, Quality Analyst to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a cohesive, repeatable data collection and reporting methodology in SharePoint and Power BI that captures quality assurance and compliance review results as structured, queryable data rather than disconnected spreadsheets.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations reporting portfolio-level quality posture, artifact compliance rates, finding volume and aging, and remediation status for PMO leadership and federal stakeholders.
  • Build and administer SharePoint Lists, libraries, and views, and automate review intake, scoring capture, finding logging, and status notifications using Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Author the analytical reports that accompany the data, including monthly Quality Control Status Reports, quarterly Quality Assurance Status and Improvement Reports, executive presentations, and weekly status reporting to the Contracting Officer's Representative.
  • Analyze review results for trends, recurring defect patterns, and root causes across project lifecycle phases, and translate findings into specific, prioritized process improvement recommendations for the Quality Management Plan and supporting procedures.
  • Reconcile published metrics against source records, including the standardized quality control review workbooks and the Jira phase gate and review tracking queue, so every reported figure is traceable.
  • Perform quality control reviews of project artifacts against established criteria across all project management lifecycle phases, supporting phase gate and pre-brief governance reviews during peak review cycles.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, reporting data dictionaries, user guides, and review checklists published to Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Participate in calibration and peer reviews, applying scoring criteria consistently across evaluators and helping reconcile scoring variances.
  • Collaborate directly with federal project managers to explain review findings, clarify compliance standards, and track corrective actions through resolution.
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or quality analysis supporting a program management office, IT governance function, or compliance organization.

  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate for workflow automation and Power Apps for structured data capture.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup and array formulas, and maintenance of complex scoring or evaluation workbooks.
  • Demonstrated experience writing analytical reports for a government or executive audience that interpret data and recommend action, not simply present charts.
  • Experience reviewing documentation or deliverables against defined quality, compliance, or audit criteria and documenting findings.
  • Working knowledge of project and program management lifecycle concepts and governance artifacts such as project charters, management plans, requirements documents, and work breakdown structures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance findings clearly and diplomatically to project managers.
