Seneca Resources seeks a Business Process Improvement Analyst to optimize operations, reduce costs, mitigate risk, and enhance service quality. You will analyze current-state processes, map workflows, document requirements, and collaborate with SMEs to drive practical improvements.

This role emphasizes data-driven recommendations, ROI analyses, and change management as you design future-state processes and support cross-functional implementation across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business process improvement or related field.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, process analysis, and structured problem-solving.
  • Experience mapping processes and documenting workflows.
  • Gathering business requirements from stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Knowledge of KPIs, data analysis, and visualization.
  • Change management and process adoption experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Operations or related field.

Responsabilités

Position Description:

Seneca Resources is seeking a Business Process Improvement Analyst to support process optimization initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, mitigating risk, and enhancing service quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, conducting root cause analysis, developing process maps, gathering business requirements, and recommending data-driven improvements. This role works closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess current-state operations, design future-state processes, and support the implementation of sustainable process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a process improvement professional who enjoys solving business problems, collaborating across teams, and translating complex workflows into practical, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Conduct end-to-end process assessments to understand workflows, dependencies, pain points, controls, and business impacts.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and document current-state processes.

  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, flowcharts, and process narratives using industry best practices.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design, document, and implement improved business processes.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions to address operational issues and process gaps.

  • Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, optimization, and improved customer experience.

  • Evaluate process performance, controls, handoffs, and operational risks to support business process redesign.

  • Develop supporting documentation, business cases, value assessments, and ROI analyses for process improvement initiatives.

  • Support implementation of approved process changes and monitor results using KPIs, metrics, and performance reporting.

  • Assist with benchmarking processes against industry standards, leading practices, and applicable business requirements.

  • Utilize process modeling and workflow tools to visualize, communicate, and validate process designs.

  • Participate in change management activities to promote successful adoption of new and improved processes.

  • Present process findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to business stakeholders and leadership.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills/Education:
  • 5+ years of experience in business process improvement, process optimization, business analysis, operations analysis, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of business processes, operating models, and operational workflows.

  • Experience conducting root cause analysis, process analysis, and structured problem-solving.

  • Hands-on experience with process mapping, process documentation, workflow analysis, and process standardization.

  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders and SMEs.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, continuous improvement principles, and operational excellence.

  • Experience with process modeling, workflow, or business process management tools.

  • Understanding of KPIs, performance metrics, data analysis, and visualization.

  • Exposure to business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI modeling.

  • Understanding of change management principles and process adoption strategies.

  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to both technical and business audiences.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Management, Process Improvement, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.

  • Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) certification.

  • Certified Lean Practitioner certification.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide process transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience in regulated, financial services, healthcare, government, or other complex business environments.
