Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. seeks a proactive Business Process Improvement Engineer to identify and manage continuous improvement projects across U.S. CMbE sites. You will analyze data, conduct audits, and recommend improvements as a single point of contact for stakeholders.

Lead workshops, map as-is workflows, and drive change while coordinating with internal teams and external partners to implement future-state processes. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in business process improvement in manufacturing.
  • Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Understanding of data flow and architecture.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process mapping and analysis workshops with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Document current workflows and design future processes.
  • Coordinate projects with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Audit processes and report findings to stakeholders.

Job Description

CarnaudMetalbox Engineering Limited is seeking a proactive Business Process Improvement Engineer responsible for identifying and managing continuous improvement projects across U.S CMbE sites. Acting as a single point of contact for stakeholders, this role focuses on analysing data, conducting business audits, and recommending improvements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate process mapping and analysis workshops with cross‑functional teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Be a “vehicle of change”. This person must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization, be able to question the status quo, and be a strong communicator.
  • Map and document existing (“as‑is”) workflows to highlight pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Support in the design of the future (“to‑be”) process.
  • Train, coach and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques.
  • Validate solutions prior to release while consulting with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate projects with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Audit business process and systems to identify non‑conformances and potential improvements.
  • Provide communications of activities to business stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business process improvement, process engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of business systems data flow and architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis software.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive results independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ERP, PLM, and MES systems and their integration into operational processes is desirable.
