Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is hiring for a position in its Winchester, Virginia facility. The role focuses on basic mechanical tasks, routine documentation, and safety-conscious manufacturing work on the line. The successful candidate will support co-workers, handle repetitive duties, and help maintain sanitation and quality standards.

• Exhibits safety and quality as top priority.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment, both as an independent contributor and as a team player
• Cross training / mutli-skilling in other functions will be a basic expectation of any person hired.
• Detail oriented and very accurate
• Candidates must be flexible to work any shift and OT as required.

Responsibilities

Division Overview

Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees and teas as well as new energy drinks. Duties And Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs / platforms.
• Ability to climb ladders (to include rolling ladders), up to 20ft to perform work.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing plant environment that is not temperature controlled.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be exposed to lifting, moving machinery, and forklift traffic.
• Production noise level is frequently loud.

Benefits

• Crown offers competitive pay (starting rate $31.20/hr with a $0.98/hour shift differential) and progresses to $33.29/hr.
