CarnaudMetalbox Engineering Limited is seeking a proactive Business Process Improvement Engineer responsible for identifying and managing continuous improvement projects across U.S CMbE sites. Acting as a single point of contact for stakeholders, this role focuses on analysing data, conducting business audits, and recommending improvements.

You will lead process mapping workshops with cross-functional teams, drive change, document current workflows, and support design of future processes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in business process improvement or similar in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Understanding of business systems data flow and architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis software.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP, PLM and MES integrations is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Be a vehicle of change; communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Map and document existing (“as-is”) workflows to highlight pain points and opportunities for improvement.

  • Train, coach and motivate personnel in new principles and techniques.
  • Validate solutions prior to release while consulting with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Audit business processes and systems to identify non-conformances and potential improvements.
  • Provide communications of activities to business stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business process improvement, process engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of Business systems data flow and architecture
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and data analysis software.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive results independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ERP , PLM and MES systems and their integration into operational processes is desirable.
