Job summary

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a capable Business Process Improvement lead to drive automation, streamlined workflows, and continuous monitoring across project lifecycles. You will guide cross-functional teams using RMF frameworks and agile methods to deliver measurable process improvements.

The role requires strong leadership and experience with Jira/Confluence, plus the ability to decompose requirements into Epics and actionable tasks for delivery teams.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of RMF and risk-based approaches for information systems and security programs.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to guide cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile teams and managing teams in iterative delivery.
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, including breaking down requirements into Epics and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain business processes to meet objectives.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements and initiate initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer and company standards; align with stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with customers and developers to integrate new and existing processes.
• Apply best practices for process analysis, re-engineering, metrics, and change management.
• Identify business requirements, processes, and risks with stakeholders; propose solutions.
• Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements; develop best practices for changing needs.
• Lead projects aimed at ongoing business improvements and cost/risk optimization.

Develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Required

• In-depth knowledge of RMF (Risk Management Framework) - RMF provides a structured yet flexible approach for determining the appropriate level of risk mitigation needed to protect information systems, information, and infrastructure from serious treats.
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience with Scrum/Agile teams to include managing teams
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and confluence, including the decomposition of requirements into Epics and team tasks
• Nice to have experience creating JIRA dashboards to manage agile teams and report programmatic metrics
• Define, implement, and maintain business processes and procedures to meet business objectives.
• Analyze and identify opportunities for business process improvements.
• Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements.
• Ensure in compliance with customer and company proposed standards.
