Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Experience with system integration (writing technical requirements, evaluating design docs).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage meetings with senior leadership and working groups.
• Coordinate and facilitate project reviews; track financials, schedules, risks, and next steps.
• Maintain action tracking for project-related items and ensure timely completion.
• Oversee requirements tracking, respond to requests, and route docs to completion.
• Prepare meeting minutes, highlights, and decks; ensure proper templates and formatting.
• Edit correspondence and documentation for clarity, grammar, and conformance to guidance.
• Gather information from internal/external resources to address issues and rail against blockers.
• Support technical exchanges between experts and review milestone documentation for consistency.
• Coordinate high-level offsite sessions and manage executive calendars and logistics.

Overview

VTG is looking for a Business Process Consultant in McLean, VA.

What will you do?

Requirement for a mid to senior level project manager system integrator to support numerous high visibility projects as well as provide front office support.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and manage meetings for a variety of different stakeholders to include senior leadership and working groups
• Coordinate and facilitate project reviews which includes helping create briefings, track project financials, schedule, identify risks/issues, and the way forward
• Maintain an action tracking system for action items related to projects
• Track assigned actions to ensure completion and response (overseeing requirements tracking processes, ensure all outstanding requests for requirements are tracked, and communicate status)
• Provide meeting minutes (with increasing knowledge of substantive areas over time specifically technical meetings), highlights, slide decks (updates on correct templates for stakeholders), Excel/Office spreadsheets
• Format, proofread, and edit correspondence and review other documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and conformance with guidance and ensure response adequately addresses concern/question. Route/track through to completion
• Seek information from appropriate internal/external resources to provide background information, as required, adequately addressing and resolving issues and concerns
• Participate and assist with establishing and supporting technical exchanges between the various experts
• Review milestone documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements
• Coordinate and facilitate high-level offsite sessions
• Manage senior level executive calendars, book conference rooms, manage office logistics

Required:

• TS/SCI with Poly
• Identifying and championing business process improvements
• Desire and ability to work on multiple fast-paced projects
• Self-starter who will take initiative for helping manage key parts of complex technical developments
• Experience with System integration work (writing technical requirements, evaluating design documentation, etc.)
• Previous customer experience

Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, engineering, science, or other related or non-technical discipline
• Experience with program/project management
• Previous experience directly supporting senior leadership level
• Demonstrated ability to identify, lead, and execute process improvements

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $150,000-$190,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
