Job summary

WiredPeople Inc is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join an interdisciplinary team supporting the Oklahoma State Department of Health Transformation Management Office. The role focuses on analyzing and improving agency processes through stakeholder interviews, current/future-state mapping, and data-driven recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of business analysis experience, a background in process improvement, and familiarity with executive-level reporting and SOP development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a business analyst.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or related field.
  • Experience in state government, healthcare, public health, finance, regulatory, or similar service environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts.
  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods.
  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.
  • Develop and revise SOPs, process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials.
  • Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
  • Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements.
  • Provide regular progress updates and maintain documentation of assigned projects, deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate feedback into final work products.

Job description

Overview:

This Business Process Analyst (BPA) is a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) Transformation Management Office (TMO) in analyzing, documenting, and improving agency business processes. This is not a Remote Position.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods.

  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

  • Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.

  • Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials.

  • Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.

  • Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.

  • Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements.

  • Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate OSDH feedback into final work products.

  • Complete other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst.

  • Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field.

  • Experience working in state government, healthcare, public health, finance, regulatory, or similar service-related environments is highly preferred.

  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts.

  • Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.

  • Preferred master's degree in MBA or MHA.

  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training or certification is preferred.
