About the Role

Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Business Planning & Channel Support Specialist – Document Scanners & Specialty Printer. The role is responsible for developing and executing business planning, inventory and procurement control, and supporting B2B partners in the US market to maximize sales performance, optimize inventory, and ensure successful product launches.

Position: Full‑time, Hybrid work schedule. In‑office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; option to work from home the remainder of the week.

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

• Conduct market, competitor, and channel analysis across the US market.
• Develop strategic plans and support budgeting and monthly business reviews.
• Create and improve demand forecasts and participate in Sales & Operations Planning (SOP).
• Manage inventory and procurement control, and drive process improvement.
• Support key B2B partners (reseller/direct marketer/dealer/WTS).
• Analyze POS and inventory data to identify growth opportunities.
• Plan and execute channel promotions and marketing programs.
• Optimize online product pages and digital assets.
• Coordinate new product launch planning with partners.
• Identify and resolve issues related to demand shifts or inventory imbalance.
• Prepare sales performance reports and propose improvement actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Experience working with multinational teams is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and business analytics tools.
• Experience with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Up to 25% travel required.
• Ability to work during peak periods or time‑zone‑shifted meetings when needed.
• Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record (essential function).

Salary Range

Anticipated salary range: $69,300 – $103,770 annually.
