HANWHA PHILLY SHIPYARD, INC is seeking a corporate planning professional to support annual and long-term planning, KPI tracking, and financial modeling in a on-site capacity. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and rigorous analysis to drive management decisions.

You will work with Finance and different departments to consolidate plans, monitor performance, and support budgeting, CAPEX governance, and scenario planning in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate planning, business operations, management consulting, business process improvement, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing, developing, or improving business processes, policies, procedures, or management practices is preferred.
  • Experience in business planning, performance management, management reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, or related activities is preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting business or organizational improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience in a complex industrial, manufacturing, shipbuilding, defense, or project-based organization is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual and mid-/long-term business planning, including plan consolidation, development of key assumptions, and coordination with relevant departments.
  • Support performance management through KPI tracking, Plan vs. Actual analysis, variance/root-cause analysis, and recurring management reporting.
  • In coordination with Finance, support budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
  • Support CAPEX governance and monitoring, including business-case analysis, approval tracking, documentation, and follow-up with responsible departments.
  • Conduct business, operational, market, competitor, and regulatory analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Manage assigned workstreams within strategic, operational, and organizational improvement initiatives, including project planning, issue/risk identification, progress tracking, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate recurring management meetings and governance forums, including agenda development, management materials, action-item tracking, and follow-up.
  • Partner with business process owners to analyze, document, standardize, and improve assigned business processes, including roles and responsibilities, decision-making processes, and Delegation of Authority.
  • Prepare management analyses, reports, presentations, and recommendations, and support ad hoc management requests.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be executed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.
