ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Operations Strategist at Atalanta, you will help build the systems that allow strategy to turn into execution. You will be in close coordination with policy strategists and growth strategists, ensuring the company can pursue critical opportunities with speed, focus, and unity. You will own important day-to-day operational work across the business, while also designing and implementing the processes, planning motions, and infrastructure that let Atalanta scale without reducing speed or impact.

In this role, you will:

• Own and improve core internal processes across areas like finance, people, and infrastructure, implementing new tools and workflows where needed to increase operating velocity.

• Partner with Atalanta’s founders to identify operational bottlenecks, design solutions from first principles, and execute on company strategy.

• Create systems for clear visibility and accountability that provide ground truth and reduce organizational drag.

• Work closely with team members across strategy, engineering, design, and research to ensure Atalanta successfully scales to meet customer and mission demand.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for:

• Experience in business operations within a high-growth startup or similarly high-ownership organization.

• A track record of strong judgement, extreme attention to detail, and impactful outcomes.

• Experience building operational systems from scratch across one or more domains such as recruiting, finance, go-to-market, people, or infrastructure.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn unstructured information into clear analysis or executable plans.

• Comfort operating with high accountability in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

• Eligibility for a TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizenship required.)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $130,000 – $180,000 per year. Employees will also receive a significant equity grant, commensurate with the contribution expected from this role.
