Business Operations Manager, Reality Labs Finance

The Go-to-market Finance team oversees unit volume forecasting, hardware and software revenue forecasting, retail contract review, OpEx management and decision-making support. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to identify trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry.

You will join the team that manages the finances for Reality Labs, Meta's division for Mixed Reality (MR) and Wearables product lines. In this role, you will be responsible for developing data-driven models and tools for forecasting unit volumes across Wearables/MR product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have experience in building forecasting models, with tools such as SQL and Tableau, and distilling strategic insights and performance narratives for executive audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in highly cross-functional environments with a focus on business partnering and building relationships. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with analytical and business leadership and a considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a growing consumer hardware Finance organization at Meta.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop models to predict unit sales of Wearables/MR hardware products
  2. Create KPIs to measure and explain performance of the business
  3. Query and visualize data from internal systems to develop insights into trends and opportunities
  4. Collaborate with analytical, product, sales, demand planning, and finance teams to develop a robust understanding of product performance
  5. Create strong business partnerships with Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance leadership overall
  6. Up level existing planning, budgeting, and reporting capabilities with modeling contributions
  7. Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management
  8. Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or other quantitative field
  2. 6+ years of experience in finance, analytics or business strategy
  3. Experience managing end-to-end forecast processes across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles
  4. Experience forecasting and modeling techniques that support various types of strategic analytics (i.e., time series forecasting, new product entry, scenario planning)
  5. Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders
  6. Experience balancing technical expertise with strategic experience
  7. Experience using data, analytics and visualization technologies including SQL or a similar database querying language, Tableau, and/or advanced analytical skills using Excel and Google Sheets
  8. Proven experience working and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, with deadlines and changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with consumer and enterprise business models
  2. Advanced degree such as an MS or PhD in quantitative field

Public Compensation:

$128,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
