Jobot, a well-established California bank with 100+ years of history, is seeking a Business Operations Manager to support the COO and lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in a hybrid Lakewood, CA environment.

The role emphasizes executive-level coordination, project oversight, and calendar governance, with responsibilities spanning communications, reports, and process improvements. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience are preferred. Notary commission is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Notary Commission preferred or ability to obtain as needed.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in executive support, chief of staff support, office operations, program management, consulting, communications, analysis or a comparable executive office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational support to the COO, including agendas, briefing materials, tracking decisions, and managing follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, monitor progress, identify risks, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Exercise independent judgment to prioritize work and support executive objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage and enhance the Office of the COO's operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, action items, reporting, and cross-department coordination.
  • Develop and improve workflows, operating procedures, governance processes and document management systems.
  • Utilize technology, automation, AI tools and templates to increase efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Prepare executive communications, reports, presentations and decision-support materials for senior leadership and board-level audiences.
  • Conduct research, analysis and information synthesis to support strategic initiatives, executive briefings and special projects.
  • Coordinate meeting materials, logistics and follow-up actions for internal and external engagements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a professional liaison between the COO, executives, departments and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate executive support activities including travel arrangements, expense reporting and special projects as needed.

Education and Experience
