Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Operations professional to lead day-to-day GMS business operations in McLean, VA. You will oversee resource and bench management, forecasting, and governance, while ensuring process integrity and standardized practices across the organization.

The role requires strategic, data-driven thinking and the ability to influence at senior levels. You will drive KPI tracking, partner with Finance, Delivery, People and Solutions, and lead initiatives to improve operating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business operations.
• University degree is required (may be substituted by advanced degree or relevant experience).
• Demonstrated ownership of forecasting, workforce planning, and governance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of core GMS business operations including resource & bench management, workforce and financial forecasting, and pipeline governance.
• Own process integrity, standardization, and performance across the business.
• Provide leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights to drive decision‑making.
• Lead internal GMS initiatives such as operating model evolution, tooling, and governance improvements.
• Act as the connective layer across Finance, Delivery, People, and Solutions functions.
• Establish and track operational KPIs (e.g., utilization, forecast accuracy, SLAs).
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and cost performance.

• Provide leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable insights to drive decision‑making

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business operations
• Requires a University Degree and prior relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
