Job description

Spreetail propels brands to increase their ecommerce market share across the globe while improving their operational costs. Learn how we are building one of the fastest-growing ecommerce companies in history: www.spreetail.com.

Work Your Way:

At Spreetail, we believe in empowering our employees to work in the way that suits them best through our Work Your Way approach. Each team member has the flexibility to choose where they work most effectively each week—whether that’s from home, a coffee shop, or the office. While flexibility is key, we also value the power of in‑person connection. That’s why we bring our corporate team together in Lincoln each quarter for a week of intentional collaboration, team building, community engagement, and our All‑Hands meeting. It’s the best of both worlds: the freedom to work your way, with meaningful opportunities to connect and grow together.

Spreetail is looking for a data‑driven Business Operations Coordinator to join our team and help power smarter, faster purchasing decisions across the business. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Business Operators, Merchants, Planners, and Finance, turning data from tools like Excel and Power BI into actionable insights that keep orders aligned with business rules and margin goals. If you thrive on solving problems, spotting patterns before they become risks, and driving process improvements that move the needle on GMV, inventory turns, and EBITDA, we want to hear from you.
How you will achieve success
  • Act as a key cross‑functional partner to Merchants, Planners, Finance, and Inventory by providing insights and ensuring purchase orders align with business rules.
  • Synthesize data from various tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Process Street) to inform order‑level recommendations and broader purchasing strategy.
  • Proactively identify patterns and risks in orders and lead conversations to resolve root causes.
  • Support process improvements that improve margin, reduce inventory risk, or streamline decision‑making across teams.
  • Optimize the approval process through data analytics and close collaboration with stakeholders.
What experiences will help you in this role
  • 1.5–5 years of work experience since college (or 2+ years of internships), ideally in finance or business, with strong grades (3.5+ GPA) showing discipline and follow‑through.
  • Sharp with numbers and detail‑oriented — comfortable with margin, cost, and inventory math, careful enough to catch own mistakes, and highly organized enough to juggle many moving pieces without dropping any.
  • Strong communicator and relationship‑builder — a people person who’s comfortable having tough conversations and can explain complicated processes in simple terms.
  • Tech‑forward and curious — already using tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate repetitive work, picks up new platforms fast (Asana, Notion, Zapier), and is eager to learn SQL and Power BI.
  • Hungry to grow — shows a track record of progression rather than standing still, with the drive and energy to keep pushing forward.

In an effort to MakeSpreetailBetter, we hire people that are aligned with our values and are passionate about pursuing ecommerce excellence. We believe the right person can learn what is needed to succeed in their role, so we encourage job applicants to apply even if you don’t meet all the qualifications listed. We’re looking for diverse backgrounds and perspectives, so we don’t require college degrees and welcome non‑linear career paths. If this role highlights your experience and gets you excited, please apply!

What you can expect from us
  • We provide the flexibility to take care of yourself. Spreetail operates in a work culture that promotes results and encourages taking time off when needed. In addition to a generous vacation policy, we also offer paid time‑off for your wedding week, paid parental leave, and support for parents of growing families.
  • We celebrate accomplishments. Each year at Spreetail is a milestone with the opportunity to receive special gifts, swag store credit, or donations to a nonprofit of your choice. We also recognize people pursuing impacts with Spreetail Spotlight Awards.
  • We care about your Health & Wellness. Spreetail works hard to enhance the employee experience through benefit programs and perks that provide meaningful support. We offer affordable medical, dental and vision plans with coast‑to‑coast coverage. We also provide free telehealth and on‑demand mental health resources.
  • We create the opportunity to revolutionize your community. We encourage Spreetailers to give back and make a social impact, and we offer paid time off to do it.
