Who You Are
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dynamic Business Operations Associate to partner with our Head of Operations to build out our Business Operations functions. In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Operations to ensure processes across all functions of the company run smoothly and efficiently. We’re looking for a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is a team player eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Strategic Initiatives:
- Assist with high-priority projects across the company, delving into strategic finance, board meeting preparation, internal process design, and KPI tracking.
- Help collect, analyze, standardize, and present operational and performance data to drive better business decisions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner with operations, product, engineering, and finance to ensure timely execution of key projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workflows that span the company, then design and implement solutions that scale.
- Systems & Tools:
- Support the setup and maintenance of tools (e.g., CRMs, project management software, financial tools, process automation tools) that power internal operations.
- Improve internal systems, tools, and meetings that power the company’s weekly rhythm.
- Administrative & Operational Support:
- Help manage vendors and partners, assist with compliance tasks, support hiring workflows, and handle day-to-day business operations.
- Design and iterate on on core people/HR processes.
- Customer Success
- Build out and own the customer success function as the company scales.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience in operations or strategy at a high-growth tech company, or in a client-facing role in consulting or investment banking
- Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
- A capacity for and comfort with decision-making when you don’t have all the information
- The ability to work independently: you are at ease working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and managing competing priorities
- The ability to learn new platforms quickly and are technologically-savvy
- Attention to detail, especially as it pertains to data and analytics
- Proficiency in SQL or the ability to learn SQL quickly
- Experience using data to make decisions and inform improvements in operational processes
