We are seeking a structured, detail-orientedBusiness Operations Specialistto support our global biotech and scientific service business. This role plays a critical function in ensuring commercial compliance, operational rigor, and seamless coordination across international teams.

The ideal candidate understands the discipline and precision required in life sciences–driven environments and thrives in structured, cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Operations & Compliance

  • Support the full commercial lifecycle of global opportunities, including quotations, contract documentation, order processing, invoicing, and payment follow-up
  • Ensure commercial activities comply with internal governance, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements
  • Track project milestones and contractual obligations to ensure accurate execution and documentation
  • Partner closely with BD and scientific project teams to ensure operational excellence

CRM & Data Integrity

  • Maintain and optimize CRM systems to ensure high-quality, traceable, and audit-ready commercial data
  • Monitor pipeline progression, contract execution status, and revenue recognition milestones
  • Generate structured reports to support management review and strategic decision-making

Cross-Functional & Cross-Border Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Development, Project Management, Legal, Finance, and Marketing teams
  • Facilitate contract review, compliance documentation, internal approval workflows, and customer communications
  • Serve as a bilingual communication bridge between English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders

Process Optimization & System Implementation

  • Support continuous improvement of commercial workflows
  • Participate in system enhancement initiatives and new operational tool rollouts
  • Contribute to the establishment of scalable, compliant commercial infrastructure
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields preferred)
  • 2–3 years of experience in business operations, sales operations, project coordination, or commercial support
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical services, CRO/CDMO, scientific services, or technical B2B environments preferred
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and verbal) – required
  • Familiar with CRM systems and structured commercial workflows
  • Strong data accuracy mindset with analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple concurrent processes
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience supporting international sales or global scientific teams
  • Understanding of contract structures, compliance frameworks, and financial fundamentals
  • Exposure to process-building or system implementation projects
