Lavender Lane Senior Living is seeking a Business Office Manager to provide clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director and department leaders in the Mesa community. You will organize resident and staff files, track charges, run billing, and assist with payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Prior office and payroll experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with interviewing, training, supervising and evaluating office staff preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clerical and administrative support to department leaders and the Executive Director; organizes and maintains resident and staff files; tracks resident charges and performs billing.
  • Performs payroll-related functions and assists with benefits administration; maintains a professional business office to facilitate smooth community operation.
  • Serves as central contact for job applicants; conducts pre-employment assessments and onboarding tasks; handles other duties as assigned.

About the Opportunity

Lavender Lane Senior Living is currently seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. Provides clerical and administrative support to the department leaders and Executive Director; organizes and maintains resident and staff files; tracks resident charges and performs billing function; performs payroll-related functions and assists with benefits administration; maintains a professional business office to facilitate smooth community operation and solves office work-flow problems. Serves as the central point of contact for all job applicants at the community. Conducts various forms of pre-employment assessments, post-employment exit interview, and other employee onboarding tasks. Other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director or designee.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Business Management preferred.
  • Prior office and payroll experience preferred.
  • Experience with interviewing, training, supervising and evaluating office staff preferred
  • Experience with using various types of office equipment, computer operating systems, word processing programs, spreadsheets and e- mail preferred.
