We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Office Manager to oversee daily office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing business office functions, including insurance verifications, Medicaid applications, and family consultations. This role is essential for ensuring smooth coordination with our Admissions office and supporting the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance coverage and patient demographics for accurate billing.
  • Assist residents and their families with Medicaid applications and updates.
  • Review and appeal denied authorizations.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable for prompt payments.
  • Stay informed about insurance regulations and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support regarding insurance billing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the billing team and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Health Insurance Billing and Collections Specialist or similar role.
  • Knowledge of health insurance billing procedures, regulations, and coding.
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS-P) is preferred but not required.

Salary: $17.43 - $19.26 per hour.
