The Business Manager for the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans Head Start Program oversees both financial operations and human resources functions under the supervision of the Program Director. This leadership role requires professionalism, independent judgment, ethical standards, and strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. Key responsibilities include collaborating on the program budget, monitoring grant revenue and expenses, approving purchases, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing employee relations, and assisting with hiring and exit processes. The position also works closely with the Head Start Leadership Team to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable laws and regulations.
